Floor Manager – Café/Lounge Bar – Nicosia
On behalf of our client, C House, a Milano based Café/Lounge Bar, soon to open in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a;
Summary of responsibilities
To be responsible for all service aspects and for the efficient running of all restaurant floor service areas. To reach and maintain the highest possible service standards and to ensure effective customer service and dining standards.
To oversee the smooth running of the all floor areas and front of house areas in conjunction with the Cook A and Production Manager.
To be responsible for the opening and/or closing procedures, including the cash handling procedure which includes opening and closing tills & maintaining cash float in store at all times.
To ensure that all food, wine and drinks are served to the appropriate standard.
To meet, greet and seat customers according to their requirements.
To meet customer’s reasonable requests.
To ensure excellent level of customer care.
To ensure all customer requirements are met at all times.
To assist in the service of food and drinks during meal periods and when necessary.
To liaise with Operations Manager to ensure correct level of staffing is rotated in line with operational/business needs.
To liaise with the kitchen management team, to ensure good communication and to offer support.
To oversee the smooth running of lunch buffet, aperitivo time and a la carte items in conjunction with Cook A.
To ensure that all new procedures are efficiently communicated to the team to include sharing information and appropriate session briefings.
To ensure that appropriate professional standards of behavior are followed.
To monitor the standards of work, working practices and productivity of all members of service staff.
Native Cypriot or Greek and fluent in English
A minimum of 2 years in a least an assistant management role in a similar business
