Job Description

Working as a SCRUM Master in an Agile context with the focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work.

  • Effectively facilitating Agile ceremonies to be their most effective
  • Assisting the Product Owner with keeping the backlog groomed
  • Maintaining relevant metrics that help the team see how they are improving
  • Acting as a coach to the team in order to help the team reflect, grow and improve
  • Helping to grow cohesive cross-functional teams and foster good communication between the team members
  • Assisting with identifying, communicating and managing dependencies or impediments between teams or departments
  • Effectively engaging colleagues beyond the team level for impediment removal
  • Training/Onboarding of new team members in Scrum and Agile thinking and practices
  • Coaching and mentoring other SCRUM masters in the organization
  • Strengthening the presence of our company as an Agile center of excellence
  • Demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for agile thinking

Required Skills & Experience

  • University degree in informatics, information technology, project management or comparable qualification
  • At least two year experience as a SCRUM Master, certification as Certified SCRUM Master or Certified SCRUM Professional
  • Five or more year experience in working in the Agile environment and detailed knowledge about the process of software development based on Agile methods
  • Preferably knowledge in Kanban and the transition of organizations into Agile principles
  • Knowledge in general project management
  • High level of personal presence and highly developed communication skills
  • Solution oriented, service based and customer oriented approach to all tasks
  • Teamwork capability, high level of social competence and ability to motivate people
  • Openness and flexibility in dealing with new challenges
  • Excellent skills in English are essential. German language skills are also desirable
