Café/Lounge Bar Bar Manager – Nicosia
On behalf of our client, C House, a Milano based Café/Lounge Bar, soon to open in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit a;
Bar Manager
Summary of responsibilities
To be responsible for all production aspects of espresso and cocktail bars and for the efficient running of all these preparation areas. To reach and maintain the highest possible production and preparation standards and to ensure quality control, cost control and inventory.
To oversee the smooth running of all production areas in conjunction with the Cook A, Cook B and Floor Manager.
To be responsible for the opening and/or closing procedures, including the cash handling procedure which includes opening and closing tills, preparing deposit slips & maintaining cash float in store by following daily cash handling procedures.
To meet & greet customers according to their requirements and ensure that proper customer service is carried out in preparation areas.
To meet customer’s reasonable requests and ensure excellent level of customer care.
To manage cost control by ensuring that recipes are followed strictly and maintain quality control and report directly to F&B Manager while controlling waste and adhering to proper production methods.
To assist with stock take and inventory control in conjunction with the F&B Manager and ensuring product sales are equivalent to inventory fluctuations.
To ensure that all food, wine and drinks are stored/dispensed/prepared to the appropriate standard, according to recipes and within costing parameters.
To assist in the preparation of food and drinks when necessary.
Requirements
Native Cypriot or Greek and fluent in English
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Nicosia resident
Outgoing personality
