Accounting Assistant

Our client is an established land development company, based in Mesa Geitonia Limassol

We are seeking to recruit for their accounts office an Accounting Assistant

Job Description

  • Book-Keeping and Preparation and process/post monthly journal entries in the accounting program.
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Monthly debtors reconciliation.
  • Preparation of payroll.
  • VAT/ VIES preparation and submission.
  • Preparation of payments of expenses and other creditors for approval
  • Liaising and assisting with the company’s auditors during the annual audits.
  • General administration duties (filing, answering the phone).
  • Willingness to assist on any task that may arise to assist the company.
  • Being able to work on their own initiative.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bsc Accounting degree or other related field
  • Higher diploma in Accounting or LCCI & have relevant working experience.
  • Working experience in the same field of work for at least 5 years.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Very Fluent in English and Greek.
  • Detailed oriented, punctual, follow policies and procedures of the company.
