Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant

Our client is a highly regarded provider of trust and corporate services for private clients, entrepreneurs and family owned businesses, based in Nicosia.

We are seeking to recruit on their behalf an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

Job Description:

  • Preparation of the accounting records (bookkeeping)
  • Processing of sales and purchase invoices and of bank transactions
  • Reconciliation of Debtors, Creditors and Bank accounts
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of reports as requested
  • Ergani Registration
  • Payroll Preparation
  • Budget analysis
  • Ad hoc office administration as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the field of bookkeeping
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field will be considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge of software Euro Soft will be considered as an advantage
  • LCCI Higher or equivalent
  • Very good knowledge of VAT
  • Basic knowledge of TAX
  • Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Dynamic, driven and self-motivated character
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Monday – Friday 10:00 – 18:00 or (in rotation) 9:00 – 17:00 with 30 min break,
  • Parking place provided by the company.
  • 13th salary and Medical Insurance after probation period.
