Our client is a very well established Fin Tech company with offices in Nicosia & Limassol.
The role is based in Limassol, however there is some flexibility to work from home some days and also the Nicosia office at times if it is more suitable for you.
Job Description
- Responsible for end-to-end operational security and incident response
- Performing SIEM maintenance and monitoring including other security tools
- Developing and maintaining incident response triage guides and playbooks
- Cooperating with other teams to improve the company security posture
- Reporting and staying abreast of current security threats
- Maintaining security solutions such as firewalls and DLP
Main requirements:
- BSc/MSc in Information Security, or any other related field
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience in security operations or building/maintaining security systems
- Solid understanding of incident response. Experience with playbook and SIEM correlation search development
- Experience with threat hunting and threat intelligence
- Good knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, IPS, SIEM, WAF and VPNs
- Knowledge of various information system technologies (Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory, VMware, databases etc)
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
