Job Description
Providing ongoing support to the wider business, in addition to liaising with the sister development centre based in Europe. Providing frontline support is a key component of the role, engaging with the wider business to ensure IT systems and processes run smoothly.
- Taking responsibility for the operation, planning, conception and documentation of the Networks
- Demonstrate the ability to recognise and analyse problems as and when they arise and initiate appropriate solutions.
- Install and configure client/server hardware and software
- Act as a key point of contact for key stakeholders across the business
- Represent the administration area in cross-border solution teams
- Continually evaluate new technologies
- Administer network and security systems
- Monitor the IT infrastructure
- Develop skills through training and knowledge transfer
- Workstation Support
- Install and Configure software
- Install new hardware servers, Hyper-V configurations
- Maintenance and Patch
- VC Support
- Install IT security tools
- Telephony support
- Back Up – including off sites
- Network Administration
- Mobile telephony
- ISP
- Archive Directory
- File Shares
- WIFI, including guest activation
Required Skills & Experience
- Able to demonstrate a sound network know-how in routing / switching and security technologies
- Knowledge of the use of network services (DHCP, DNS, NAT, NFS)
- Understanding of Cisco network hardware
- Knowledge of the operating systems Windows and / or Linux
