Junior Support Engineer

Our client is an R&D Cyber Security / Cyber Intelligence Company, based in Limassol servicing their worldwide clients.

We are recruiting on their behalf for a Junior Support Engineer eager to learn and evolve within the company.

You will be the customers point of contact and you will be constantly talking with them to assist with any issues they might have using both verbal and written methods.

Job Description

  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and follow up to resolution
  • Escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner to the appropriate department
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Document technical knowledge in the form of knowledge base articles
  • Report bugs and log issues
  • Be available for support issues and emergencies
  • Some travelling might be required

Required Skills & Experience

  • BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant experience
  • Basic Network knowledge
  • Basic Windows / Linux knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies will be considered a plus
