SQL Developer

Our client is one of the leading foreign exchange providers based in Limassol

We are recruiting for an SQL Developer to join their talented team.

Job Description

Write and optimize in-application SQL statements
Create ETL solutions that capture data from multiple systems and transform in a unified format
Participate in the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and warehousing approaches
Ensure performance, security and availability of databases
Prepare documentations and specifications
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
Create data visualizations and reports for requested projects
Collaborate with other team members, middle and top management
Translate business needs to technical specifications

Required Skills & Experience

University Degree in Computer Science or any other related field
3 – 5 years of experience in designing and creating reporting databases
Excellent command of the Greek and English language
Proficiency with SQL scripting and its variation among popular databases
Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
Experience with designing and managing relational databases
Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of ETL techniques by utilizing SSIS packages will be considered as an advantage
Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services will be considered as an advantage
Knowledge of a Business Intelligence tool (most preferable Power BI) will be considered as an advantage
Relevant experience in the Financial Services industry will be considered as an advantage
