There are many spa job opportunities in Cyprus for qualified personnel, as the island boasts a number of award winning Spas, primarily located within four and five star hotels, though there are also many highly respected spas located within all the city centres that are not associated with hotels.

The trend amongst the luxury spas within hotel resorts is to offer unusual and sometimes unique treatments such as thalassotherapy and aromatherapy treatments, watsu underwater massage, journey of Reflection, an 85-minute, four hands massage, champagne Aphrodisiac, a candlelit massage for two in the guests’ suite complete with a bottle of bubbly to share afterwards. Also available is Orient, a two-hour detoxifying and purifying ritual.

In addition all the more common and well known day to day treatments such as Indian Head massage, deep tissue massage and sports massages are offered by all the spas in Cyprus. All of them have facial and beauty treatments also available.

Generally qualifications from a recognised college are required, with spa jobs offered ranging from junior to senior spa and beauty therapists as well as spa manager roles.
