The city of Nicosia is home to many of the Cypriot multinational companies operating in the IT and software sectors as well as being the island’s banking industry centre. Being the capital city of Cyprus, the city is also the largest in terms of population.
As a consequence, opportunities for jobs in Nicosia are plentiful: from roles in IT and software, through to retail jobs, office and administrative jobs. Not only are the main telecoms companies located in Nicosia, but the big four accounting and audit firms have all established their Cypriot headquarters in the city, so naturally there are also many opportunities and job vacancies available for experienced accountants, solicitor and lawyers, as well as for other corporate job roles.
Nicosia is currently going through a major infrastructure revamp and renovation of the old city and as such there is a steady growth in new construction projects creating a large volume of construction jobs.

University Degree and/or holder of LCCI Higher. 2-3 years previous experience. Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner. Deal with financial paperwork and filing
Responsible for leading statutory audits for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries in accordance to the International Standards on Auditing and the Companies Law.
Providing comprehensive and integrated administrative support to the Management team (including typing, telephone management, email correspondence and travel arrangements for the senior management team).
Responsible for performing month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries. Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
Prepare financial statements. Planning, execution and successful completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs. Preparation of clients’ tax returns and tax computations.
Responsible for performing month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries. Provide overall leadership, supervision, training, guidance and performance feedback to staff.
Organise, implement and supervise the company’s processes necessary for the efficient processing of client requests regarding the incorporation of companies, opening of bank accounts, drafting of corporate documents/agreements, assisting with changes in the Company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, preparing and submitting of Annual Returns, etc.
Planning, execution and successful completion of audits in accordance with IFRSs and ISAs. Newly qualified or partly qualified accountant with minimum 2-3 years of experience in audit firm.
ACCA student. Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize findings on the assigned audit segment. Prepare draft financial statements.
