Sales Executive – Marketing

Job Description

Responsible for generating new business and driving revenue growth through selling the agency’s marketing services to potential clients.

  • Generate leads and build a pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, email marketing, and other sales activities.
  • Conduct research to understand the needs and pain points of prospective clients and develop tailored sales pitches and proposals to address those needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders and serve as their primary point of contact throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the agency’s marketing and creative teams to develop customized solutions for clients and ensure that proposals and presentations are of high quality and aligned with the agency’s brand.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and ensure that all agreements are in line with the agency’s policies and procedures.
  • Monitor market trends and competition and provide insights and recommendations to the agency’s leadership team on how to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree holder on Business Administration/ Marketing or any other a relevant sector

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a similar role for at least 3 years
  • Experience in B2B sales is mandatory, ideally within the events and marketing industry
  • Ability to source and identify c emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills with confident telephone manner
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented with limited supervision
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a service
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and sell multiple events at the same time
