PHP Front End Developer

Our client is a leading multinational and very well established Financial Services company with offices based in the centre of Limassol.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Front End PHP Developer to join their team.

Job Description

Cooperating closely with design team and content writers to implement the required changes to all company websites
Developing and testing new features
Overseeing the correct functionality of the multiple company websites and solving any problems the website encounters and/or liaising with the appropriate expert
Performing routine site maintenance as needed and spotting out errors
Staying abreast of the latest developments in his/her field, emerging technologies and services that may enhance the web experience
Making relevant well thought recommendations to the FED team
Assisting other departments with any queries related to PHP FED team responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

BSc/MSc in information technology or any other relevant degree
Experience in a relevant position is considered an advantage
Working knowledge of PHP and OOP
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery/Javascript, MySQL
Working knowledge of WordPress; knowledge of other CMS is considered an advantage
Experience in PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter or other related frameworks)
Very good understanding of responsive web design and knowledge of relevant CSS libraries (i.e. Bootstrap)
Proactive and efficient with strong testing skills
Strong organisational skills with high ability to multitask and prioritise
Strong sense of attention to details
